Great program and very easy to use. The recent update on 2/22 solved the only minor issue I have with the program. It is wonderful to be able to access ALL my files and be able to view/edit them in ANY program that is on my PC. Also makes it possible to access ANY web site and remove the limitations of my handheld's browser. BTW, I am using the Samsung i500.

This is an AMAZING PROGRAM! I'm using a Kyocera 7135 with quick2Net and I'm still getting amazingly FAST refresh rate! I'm actually typing this FROM my 7135, 40 miles away from my PC! The setup was fairly easy. Took about 10 min. The key is when the icon in your system tray is Green, you are GOOD to go! What a BREAKTHOUGH! And FREE!

This program does exactly what it says it does...with ease. I access my home computer daily from anywhere, sometimes just for fun... it's that cool! This is one program I would have gladly paid money for but it's free! Why is that?
Many thanks!

As another reviewer noted, I am writing this review from the qwerty keypad of my Treo 650! What an awesome piece of software, much less freeware! Simple setup, no problems, worked correctly from the beginning.
It is like having your desktop in the palm (no pun intended) of your hand! You can literally access everything on your desktop via your wireless device. WOW this is the coolest thing! DOWNLOAD IT NOW!!!

unbelievable!!! Save my vacation. I was able to handle a network emergency from the airport and followup while on the zipping down the road at 75mph in the rental car. A must-have application for your Treo600 or other compatible device.

Amazing! This is by far the best application for Palm I've ever seen. I can work on my files directly on my home computer. I set up three computers - laptop, home, and office and I can access any one of them from anywhere I have coverage on my Treo 650! Kudos and Blessings to you - keep up the great work!

The single most astonishing piece of palmware I've seen since the origin of the species. This just shrunk my briefcase into a wallet. Absolutely mindblowing!

I've been using this program on my Treo 650 with wonderful results. I can control my home computer from anywhere I get a cell signal. It is great to be able to send a file I forgot to my Treo and have it for review... or to send a large powerpoint presentation I forgot to load up across the country. The only program I have found that does not work is Windows Passport, but I think it is a limitation of Passport, not of the Win-Hand software. Great Program and a must have!

Having used this app thru several versions, it's THE KILLER APP OEM'S FORGOT ! You got your PDA to control your life - Calendar, Address Book, ToDo's - But to be able to control your Desktop from your PDA(and therefore, all your files) is the one thing they ALL forgot ! Now That's ULTIMATE CONTROL !! PCAnywhere (now a decade old?) only got it half way close (desktop to desktop) - this app closes the "Final PDA Frontier" with such grace and speed, rendering true colors and actions, it should be making EVERY OEM slap their heads and exclaim "Doh !" A PDA hooked up to a cell phone works the same as a fulltime wireless with this app - so why is it FREE ?? Hey !, OEM's - Doh ! Pay this guy and stick in ROM and *finally* give us what you should have given us for our $$ to begin with !! Then again, FREE *is* nice (like any OEM is gonna do that!)... If you have ANY kind of PDA that connects *somehow*, and you don't have this app, your only "partially" connected, and "partially" in control - get this app and make your PDA complete, Make an OEM slap his head and say "Doh!", and *finally* complete your life, !

Win-Hand is pretty amazing. I'm running it on my Treo and it's hard to believe how fast it works. I've used the Palm VNC app before, but I think Win-Hand is far more functional and secure. It's certainly faster. It works through firewalls by using a centralized server that acts as an intermediary between your desktop and your Palm, so you don't need to reconfigure anything on your desktop side. (You do need some faith that author is both a good coder and keeps his sever secure. Most organizations would not permit you to run an app like this from a generally unknown source....) Regardless, I love it and have to ask why on earth is this software free?? :)

Took only a few minutes to work - connected my Tungsten T and my PC and I can remotely run PC applications as if I'm in front of the PC! I tested connecting through my PC's Bluetooth and also GPRS through my mobile phone - amazing, it worked immediately! Now I also run my Palm browser via my PC's broadband, instead of my mobile's GPRS - saving money with faster response. Requires a PPP connection to PC which is documented on website. Author responds fast to feedback and he is very helpful. Can we pay him for this amazing software?

Great piece of S/W for Palm OS platform...control a windows environment from your Palm enable PDA...great idea...Bill Gates must be fuming...the application allows simple use of my windows apps from a remote location with ease...also allows me to pass through my corp firewall with ease...my boss will always think I'm in the office!!

Let me say, this app rocks! I have a tungsten C and today I used Winhand from my work to auto email me some files I've forgot on my computer (with winXP) back home, now that I come to think it, I remember I didn't auto email me those files, I opened a MSN messenger sesion with a diferent account and sent me those files on my every day use account of messenger. Can you beleive that? I only wonder: why the author does not receive any bonuses for the use of this software? If there is some way to donate to the author I will gladly give him a stipend.

This program is FANTASTIC!!! Works well controlling the laptop in my office from the other side of the building or @ home in bed. VERY EASY to setup. The only bug I have seen is that it will leave the WLAN connection on when I turn off my TH55 if I don't tell it to hang up before exiting the program. Other than that THIS PROGRAM ROCKS!!!!
