To bring up the Win-Hand settings on the PC to be accessed, simply click on the Win-Hand icon near the clock. |

When you RIGHT CLICK the Win-Hand icon, you have access to more options including a shortcut to the WinHand_CLIENT.exe. That option allows you to connect to other PCs (you must have Win-Hand installed on those PCs, and you must have the Memory stick currently inserted in this PC).
To generate new Session Encryption Keys for a configuration, double click that configuration
and Click "Install SEK (...) to my Mobile Device".
Server Tips
- About Proxy servers (this is an advanced setting)
If your network requires a proxy to access the Internet, turn this option on.
- Power Manager must be off
The host computer running Win-Hand must not have Windows's Power Manager activated. Indeed, Win-Hand will be de-activated when the computer goes in sleep mode. Instead, it is recommended to turn off your monitor manually. This will not interfere with Win-Hand's operations.
- Modem disconnection
Some Internet service provider will disconnect your modem call after a period of time even if the connection is active. Win-Hand will re-initiate a modem connection but your modem settings must be in "automatic login mode".
- Power Manager must be off
