How to get your Remote Monitor
to show up on your Mobile Computer
|
This is due to your Video card's driver which have a settings
that is not compatible with applications like Win-Hand that need to see
what is showing on your PC's monitor.
This most often result in a black display or no display at all
and it is most often observed when a movie playing on your PC's monitor.
Solution:
- From your PC;
- Start;
- Settings;
- Control Panel;
- Display;
- Settings;
- Advanced;
- Troubleshoot;
- Set "Hardware Acceleration" to None.
- Reboot
After you have resolve the issue and your PC's monitor shows on your Mobile,
you may increase your Video card's "Hardware Acceleration" setting one
step at a time as long as you keep seeing your PC's monitor on your
Mobile using Win-Hand.
|
Very important: | Some "Hardware Acceleration" settings
requires you to reboot. After you have selected your prefered hardware
acceleration setting, make sure you reboot. A lot of video driver's
settings will only take affect after you reboot even if you do not get
a warning after you change a setting. After rebooting, make sure
Win-Hand can still display your PC's monitor. If not, you must reduce
your Video Hardware Acceleration settings.
